One Year Later

Well, time has certainly gotten away from me. I have posted 2 new collections of textures and some Word Art—and I've changed the whole site up since posting last year. I've used a different method for the textures....most of them have been created using paint, pastels & water color—some combined together with old wallpaper, newpaper, etc. I have set the site up differently and now have an easier checkout process. I've had so much fun creating the new textures and I'm anxious to see the reaction of others. There are some fun textures to work with and I have much more coming. I could look at paper and fabric all day—my goal is to bring this love to life, digitally.

I currently only have a few things available, but I wanted to give everyone an idea of what I would have available—and I hope to gather some reactions from others on what you would like to see at the Broadway Boutique. I'm wondering if photographers have more of a need for wedding album templates, baby album templates, senior album templates, card templates, etc. I'm currently working on a set of Wedding albums along with a few Baby albums. I can't wait to share additional work with you in the next few weeks!

Sneak Peek of the Broadway Boutique!

I am thrilled to announce the opening of the Broadway Boutique, Inc! I've had this web address for several years, just waiting for enough time to get started on my dream! (I'm not a great writer, but I do want to give you an idea of my plans for the boutique and this seems like a great way to keep people up-to-date on new items) By the way, I have been in the graphic design field for over 13 years and have always been most intrigued with card/invitation/book design. I'm hoping the designs that I post will inspire you with your projects, whether that be a photo album, Christmas card, birthday invitation, etc.

I've always had a passion for paper....I love the feel of paper, the texture, the weight, the color, cotton/linen/etc....I could look at paper for hours in an art store (and have many times). If I could make paper and sell it, I would. However, I don't have the time or supplies to do this. So, I decided to take my love of "physical" paper and start creating digital paper. There are so many uses for digital paper and that seems to be the direction that everything is going! I love designing announcements, invitations, scrapbooks, photography....anything that has to do with paper....the options are endless!

I also have a love for vintage/antique items....especially old prints/books/wallpaper/anything with texture and depth. With my parents owning an antique store, I am often inspired by items in their store when designing paper for the boutique. All paper is designed by me—I hope you find the sheets to be unique and original!

I currently have over 100 sheets of paper on my site. I have so much more coming in the near future, but I wanted to go ahead and offer what I have created so far.
